As of 07/19/24 their "Black Owned" status has been removed. As far as we know they have had this on their page for years. Interesting enough, the "LGBTQ+ Owned" status has been removed as well.

Lago Vista Film Lab OWNER POSTING NUDE PHOTOS AS "REVENGE"
According to over 30 women in the Austin modeling/photo community, Lago Vista Film Lab owner Richard Johnson would offer to help with their photoshoots by providing use of his photo services, his boat, vehicle, event space, or his home for FREE. He would in turn claim he owned their creative works. When met with resistance over this issue he would threaten to release their nude photos online.

Why would a "professional" photographer delete an account with over 10,000 followers?
OVERPRICED is one thing. Inconsiderate and rude is another.
Some customers have said Lago Vista Film Lab lost or damaged their film without offering a refund. Allegedly, In the cases where they do want to help out, they offer a coupon for free developing but still charge for scanning....BOLD!
Maybe it's part of their training?

According to users of reddit ... LAGO VISTA FILM LAB owner used to regularly post on his account u/shootfilmnotdigital mainly to troll, post about political extremes, and to boast about his life's "successes" (owning a large home, driving a bmw, and taking pictures of nude instagram models.)
The Owner Brags about their plan to shut Down a local business
They gloat about "Stealing" customers from a smaller local film lab.
Blatant post of a map photo with the lab in question pinned, looking for a new shop location.
